When did I last sit below a tree with peace and composure?
I could remember as gray as GECB. Or Kizhakkemadam. It wasn't composure, it was agility woven in peace from the innocence of a student. And probably ignorance (not very different now though).
Aalu (Malayalam for Banyan tree)
Ficus genus has about 850 species of trees, shrubs, vines, etc.
The banyan trees usually have much medicinal value and are evergreen.
The Wikipedia page of a temple in Kerala shows the ficus tree that grows there.
It's always amazing to see these incredible beings.
