The below attempt is at a view onto an empty US 101 Highway across from the Lakeside Drive in Sunnyvale, California.
Highway 101 spans California, Oregon, Washington states from South to North.
This small pine tree at the center of the freeway growing off the thin divider reminds me of “thriving under pressure”.
Its just one of the many such resilient pine sprouts I could observe while driving in CA.
One day it might grow bigger for someone to notice and cut, to make room for the wizzing traffic.
